of Performance and Uses of Tetraisopropyl Titanate
Tetraisopropyl titanate is one kind of tetraalkyl titanate,
mainly used as catalyst for the preparations of plasticizer
and polyester. Besides it can be used in the manufacture
of varnish, adhesion and as the intermediate of coupler.
This product is extremely easy to have polar group
reaction with -NH3、-OH、-COOH
and -CONH2. In particular, it
is exceedingly easy to have hydrolysis reaction with
water so it should be sealed and stored away from water.
