Introduction of Performance and Uses of DIBP
Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP)
DIBP ,a commonly used primary plasticizer, can serve
as plasticizers for cellulose resin, vinyl resin, acrylonitrile-butadiene
rubber and chlorinated rubber. Its plasticizing efficiency
is similar to that of DBP. With excellent solubility,
dispersion and viscosity, this product is easily dissolved
in pigment so it can be applied to colored film, artificial
leather and plastic products. Moreover, it can replace
DBP and serve as emollient of natural rubber and synthetic
rubber to improve the elastic resilience of the product.
