Brief Introduction of Performance and Uses of DBP
Dibutyl phthalate, for short DBP.
This product is chiefly used as the primary plasticizer
of cellulose ester and PVC,especially applied to nitrocellulose
coating. It has good solubility, dispersion, viscosity
and fine flexibility and stability of lacquer film.
Easily dissolved in pigment, it can be used in colored
film, artificial leather and plastic products. This
product is also used as plasticizer or emollient of
natural rubber and synthetic rubber to upgrade the elastic
resilience of the products.
