Introduction of Performance and Uses of DOP
Dioctyl (o-) phthalate, for short,DOP.
DOP is an important and general primary plasticizer,
chiefly used in the processing of PVC resin and high
polymers such as chemical resin, acetic acid resin,
ABS resin, rubber and also in the production of lacquer,
dyestuff and dispersant,etc.
DOP of general grade is widely used in the industry
of plastic, rubber, oilpaint and emulsifying agent.
PVC plasticized by it can be used in the manufacture
of artificial leather, agricultral film, packaging material
and cables,ect.
Apart from having all the properties of general grade
DOP, electrical grade DOP also has excellent electrical
insulation and is chiefly used in the production of
wires and cables.
DOP of food grade is mostly used in the production
of packaging material.
DOP of pharmaceutical grade is mainly used in the manufacture
of medical and sanitary products, such as discardable
medical apparatus and instruments and medical packaging
materials,etc.
